Notice is hereby given that the Board of Education of Bay City Public Schools, School District City of Bay City, Bay and Saginaw Counties will hold a REGULAR BOARD MEETING beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2020. The meeting will be held electronically as Governor Whitmer’s Executive Order 2020-154 allows electronic participation through the COVID-19 Pandemic state of emergency or state of disaster and 28 days thereafter. The purpose of the regular meeting is to conduct business of the District which may include the opportunity to consider matters in closed session, as may be necessary and permitted under the Open Meetings Act and the board may reconvene in open session for possible action on these matters, or any other matter that may be necessary. This meeting is a meeting of the Board of Education in public for the purpose of conducting the School District's business and is not to be considered a public community meeting. There is a time for public participation during the meeting as indicated in agenda item Call to the Audience. 

Any person with a disability who needs accommodations for participation in this meeting should contact the Board Office at (989) 686-9700 at least 5 days in advance of the meeting to request assistance. Upon request to the superintendent, the District shall make reasonable accommodation for a person with disabilities to be able to participate in this meeting. Meal Distribution
Beginning Wednesday, March 18, 2020, Bay City Public Schools will be providing two (2) breakfasts and two (2) lunches to each student on a Monday – Wednesday – Friday schedule

 Summer Food Service Program

The Bay City Public Schools announce the sponsorship of the Summer Food Service Program for Children. Free meals will be made available to children 18 years of age and under or disabled persons, regardless of age, who are determined by the State or local public educational agency to be mentally or physically disabled, and who participate in a public or private non-profit school program established for the mentally or physically disabled.

The meals will be provided without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, or handicap. Meals will be provided on dates and at times as indicated in the informational PDF linked here: Summer Feeding Site Information 2020
