Click the
View Calendar
button at top of the toolbar
Look at your calendar in the item list (Right Pane)
This window gives you a pretty good overview of everything. The dates in the little month windows are bolded if you have an appointment on that day. Click a date to view that particular date on your calendar. Appointments appear in the Appointment List and tasks and notes appear in their respective lists.
Putting items in your calendar
Click the down arrow next to the Schedule New Appointment button on the toolbar
Click Personal Appointment
You can schedule it for as long or short as you want. Just fill in the appropriate information and click OK. Go ahead and look; it's on your Calendar.
You can also put personal tasks on your Calendar. Just follow the same instructions, but click the down arrow next to the Create Personal Task button on the toolbar this time.
Of course, you can schedule official meetings and tasks pretty much the same way. To do that, forget about the down arrow next to the button on the toolbar; just click the button itself and a blank meeting or task appears, waiting for you to give it meaning.
