Saving and Using Web Pages

When you find Web pages that you want to save or view later in the classroom, here are two simple ways to quickly save them:

1.  Go to the page that you want to save.

2.  From the menu bar, select File, then Save As.  The Save Web Page dialog box will appear.

3.  In area labeled Save In, select the location where you want to save your page.

4.  In the box labeled File Name, enter a name for your file.

5.  In the box labeled Save As Type, choose Web page, complete (*.htm, *html).   It allows you to save the page to a folder on your drive, as well as all the graphics, sounds, and additional files (Java).
