How to use the PDF's

Open up the form by clicking on the link. The form should open in Adobe Reader.  You can then type in the spaces on the form.  When you are done you can print the form with the text you typed in by hitting the print button.  YOU CAN NOT SAVE THE FORM WITH THE TEXT YOU TYPE IN.  You can save the form without the text you typed in by opening the form the clicking on file then clicking on save.

·         Explain goal setting

Hold sessions for probationary at district level

·         Middle School / High School

Portfolio development inservice – optional but critical for probationary

By October 15

Non-tenured staff:

·         Complete draft of IDP (Form 1A)

·         Attend inservice on portfolio development and expectations

 

By October 15

Tenured staff:

·         Complete draft of Plan II Goal Outline Form

·         Attend inservice on portfolio development if interested

 

Oct. 16 - Nov. 9

 

Administrator meets with each individual/team/etc. to be evaluated for 30 minutes:

·         Reviews and confirms goals

·         Non-tenured: Sets up first observation date for probationary staff at the meeting

·         Tenured: Sets up observation date for visit if staff member chooses

 

By December 31

 

Complete first formal observation of probationary staff

1st Week of January – February 28

Complete second formal observation of probationary staff

By Last Day of March

Complete summative evaluation for probationary staff

By End of the School Year

Administrator will have met with each tenured teacher/team/etc. to confirm goal completion and to complete Final Summary Form
